It’s all about you……

Your love story

is uniquely yours.

So your wedding ceremony should be too.

From the moment you book me, right up until your big day, we’re going to spend some time getting to know each other.

I want to find out what’s special about your relationship, why are you perfect for each other and what marriage means to you. Then I will write a completely bespoke and personal ceremony that beautifully reflects who you are as a couple, your shared values and your vision for your future together.

Signed & sealed….

The exciting thing about your marriage ceremony is that there is plenty of room for creativity.

Apart from a few very simple legal requirements that ensure you are actually married, your ceremony can take pretty much take any form you like.

Whether you’re spiritual or secular, head in the clouds or feet on the ground, beautifully formal or casual and fun - it’s my job to bring together all of the ideas and elements that hold meaning for you, and craft them into an entertaining, heartwarming and meaningful ceremony that is the anchor point of your wedding day.

If you need some ideas I have a great portfolio of resources we can look through together and draw upon for inspiration. Many couples find that in going through the creative process of the ceremony work, it helps them to solidify their wedding thematically as a whole.

How it works

Step 1. Let’s get together for a no obligation chat about your plans and ideas. If you’re in Auckland I’ll come to you (as long as we’re not in a Covid Alert Level), if not let’s catch up online.

If it feels like a good fit and you’d like to engage me as your celebrant, I’ll give you a clear indication of all costs involved in your ceremony creation. I will leave you with my ‘Milestone Moments’ guidebook, along with an easy to follow an action plan, upon payment of your 30% deposit to secure your date.

Step 2. We’ll get together again once or twice, to go through your plans in more detail. We’ll discuss a few options and things you may need to think about, and I’ll present your ceremony and plan in its first draft form.

I’ll guide you through the easy steps to apply for your marriage license, and I’ll give you a gentle reminder (and some help if need be) with things like your vows, reading choices and music. Think of me as your wedding wingman!

Step 3. I’ll work with you to ensure your ceremony and plan is finished and exactly how you want it, ideally at least 2 weeks before the wedding.

Step 4. The final week! You’ll have a lot going on in the final lead up to the big day, but I’ll be available to discuss any finer points, last minute tweaks or even just for a chat to calm your nerves.

I’ll organise and run your on-site rehearsal session, (usually the day before) so you can be relaxed in the knowledge, that everyone knows exactly what they’re doing, and your wedding day goes perfectly to plan.

Your final payment is due 5 days before the wedding.
